TIGER - DISAPPOINTING

N.V.R. Cinema’s TIGER was a disappointing movie that did have a few things going for it. It had a message, good performance from cast (with the exception Seerat Kapoor) , few applausable dialogues and good Photography. But aside from that, everything in the movie fell short of its mark. Way short of its mark.
Film is about Tiger (Sundeep Kishan) who is very emotional about friends and relationships, cares his one and only best friend Vishnu (Rahul Ravindran) . Vishnu falls in love with Varanasi girl Ganga (Seerat Kapoor). Trouble starts when Ganga parents came to know about her love matter. Rest of the story how Tiger resolves trouble.
The plot of the movie was decent, to a point. The first half was okay, but the second half was riddled with ridiculous scenarios that it’s hard to even talk about without cringing. It was trash. The last 30minutes of the film pretty much killed the entire thing for me. I’m not going to get into specifics here.
Sundeep had given good performance, but his dialogue delivery was very bad and I dont want to talk about his dancing skills. Rahul was good to certain extent. Rest all performed well.
Coming back to technicalities of the film, Thaman scored good tracks where as BGM was lifted. Chota.K. Naidu photography was good. Editing was just ok. Dailogues by Abboori Ravi was good.
Director VI Anand, honurly killed his debut.
All in all, TIGER was not a great movie. It had a lot of potential, but it was completely wasted. The message of the movie didn’t worked out because of the way it was delivered and the story itself was weak.
2/5 Stars
PS: We can notice that song and few scenes from the theatrical trailer are edited in the movie playing in theatres.
